STRINGYBARK CREEK INTERPRETIVE TRAIL

In 2017 / 18 we undertook a project for the Victorian Dept of Environment Water and Planning to design the interpretation response needed for the introdcution of the new walking trail at the Stringybark Creek Historic Reserve.

Stringybark Creek is the site where three Victorian policemen were killed on the evening of Saturday 26 October 1878 as they were seeking to execute warrants for the arest of Ned and Dan Kelly.

The focus of the interpretation trail is to both explain the events of that daywhile at the same time serving as a memorial to three of the four man police search party who lost their lives there in the execution of their duty.
