The Stockton Peninsula forms the northern gateway to the Port of Newcastle just north of Sydney.
It is one of the more remarkable heritage treasure troves one encounters with a rich and varied history tracing out the development of Newcastle Harbour since the early 1800s through to the present day.
The Stockton Historical Society is justifiably proud of their rich heritage resources.
We had the engaging opportunity to help them present these to the public via a series of 15 interpretive signs around the foreshores that comprise the Stockton Historical Walk. Developed in two stages, the walk was opened in March 2018.
