The rich pastoral heritage of Mungo National Park sits alongside its iconic Aboriginal cultural heritage as a feature of importance to share with visitors.
As part of our work on the interpretive design of the Mungo Meeting Place in 2010 we proposed the creation of a Pastoral Heritage Loop to connect both the Zanci and Mungo Woolsheds in a 5km walk / cycle experience.
Display components were included in both these woolsheds. The Mungo shed with its striking historical ambience was kept largely free of intervention. The more modern Zanci shed lent itself to a more intensive set of installations.
