Nature Tourism Services is an Australian company that specialises in delivering innovative interpretive and visitor orientation design solutions.

Decades of experience in interpretation planning underpins all our project work. We connect traditional interpretation sign, maps and print media product with interpretive digital products including tourism webapps and PDF smartphone guides.

Over 2010/11 we were privileged to work in cooperation with staff at the Victorian DSE office in Marysville to assist them with the signage they needed to produce as part of their massive project to re-establish Marysville's walking trail network in the wake of the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires.

At the outset of our work in this regard, we recommended they take the opportunity to develop the trails within a larger, overarching trail network that embraced not just the trails in the state forest close to town, but also those in the adjacent Yarra Rangers National Park and Lake Mountain Resort.

This approach was strongly endorsed by both them, Parks Victoria, Lake Mountain Resort and Marysville Tourism and resulted in the development of the overall Marysville Trails network as an integrated, single package experience.

Subsequent to this work we were then employed to produce the signage for the reconstructed visitor precinct at Stevenson Falls, orientation / entry signage for the Marysville visitor centre precinct and also for the signage needed for nearby facilities established at Narbethong and Buxton.
