Nature Tourism Services is an Australian company that specialises in delivering innovative interpretive and visitor orientation design solutions.

Decades of experience in interpretation planning underpins all our project work. We connect traditional interpretation sign, maps and print media product with interpretive digital products including tourism webapps and PDF smartphone guides.

In 2013 we worked with High Country Collective to deliver the signage solutions for the new Great Victorian Rail Trail running between Mansfield, Alexandra, Yea and Tallarook in Victoria. The project featured some very innovative design work including the creation of a special seat unit that doubled as a bike rack.

Four major trail head installations were installed as part of the stage 1 roll out of the signage program. The planning report we produced is interesting in that it describes how these trailheads were developed to mimic the effect of arriving in a country station in a wide open landscape.
